VLADIMIR DE FRANCESCHI is the counsel for Taylor Frigon Capital Management with responsibility for business development of Taylor Frigon Capital Partners. Prior to joining Taylor Frigon, he practiced corporate and securities law in Silicon Valley at Venture Law Group, Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, Baker McKenzie and De Franceschi & Boray, a law firm he founded that was acquired by a national one. Vladimir represented technology start-ups and their venture capital investors on over $500 Million in early-stage equity and debt financings, including Taylor Frigon Capital Partners since 2007. He advised numerous IT and life science startups on corporate governance, employment, intellectual property licensing, joint-venturing, restructuring and merger and acquisition matters, as well as served on their boards. 

 

 

Vladimir founded and led a Founder Institute chapter, graduating over 40 startups, many of whom he continues to advise. He also mentored tech startups in the US, Turkey, Switzerland, Serbia, Slovenia, Finland, Croatia, Colombia and Austria. Prior to practicing law, Vladimir was an international consumer marketing researcher in Los Angeles and an engineering and manufacturing strategic planner at Sony.

 

 

Vladimir received a BA from UCLA, an MA and professional certification in biotech manufacturing from UCSD and a JD from Stanford. Vladimir grew up in Serbia, Croatia, India and the United States and is fluent in English, Serbian and Croatian.
